Here is the definition of organic according to the USDA:
"100% organic means that every ingredient in the product was raised and harvested in an organic environment as approved and certified by the USDA. Organic means that 70 to 95% of all the ingredients have been raised in a USDA manner."
Any product with less than a 70% organic content can separately list each ingredient that falls into the USDA organic category, but the product may not display a label claiming it as organic. Before 2002 there were no such guidelines placed on food manufacturers. Organic food is produced without using harmful, conventional pesticides, fertilizers containing synthetic ingredients or sewage sludge, bioengineering or ionizing radiation. Before a product can be labeled organic, a government approved certifier inspects the farm where the food is grown to insure that the farmer is following all the rules necessary to meet the USDA organic standards.
Since our proprietary blend of herbs work synergistically to help with addicitive responses and relaxation as well as supporting lung health, our customers are usually quite happy without nicotine. We do offer our e-cigarette liquid with 16mg nicotine for those who desire it at no extra cost.
Our juice differs from those of other companies in several ways. Extractions for flavors are generally done in propylene glycol or alcohol. Ours are done by distillation method, or extracted in alcohol and then the alcohol is removed leaving just trace amounts. We do not use propylene glycol or any synthetic ingredients, making it much more difficult to offer a wide range of flavors. We simply concentrate on what we can make that we feel good about using and offering to you for your use.
Our herbs and tobacco are harvested, cleaned and extracted, with some taking over a month to complete this process. It is very time consuming, and as a result, we might be a little bit more expensive. We want you to know that we work in huge quantities and make every effort to keep prices as reasonable as possible, while still bringing you the quality you deserve.
Our products fall under the heading of organic. It is not 100% organic, as some of our herbs we use are wild crafted. Although these herbs are quite organic, they are not regulated to fit into the guidelines established by the USDA. Our flavors are 100% organic, and are directly extracted from the plants, fruits or beans. Some of our flavors, such as pomegranate-acai and cherry contain antioxidants for further healthful benefits.
